Times are such that people spend more time scouring Facebook pages and apps that all the Google offerings, YouTube included. And in such an age, it is more likely that your popularity on the social networking site might hold a higher importance than any stock market rankings. Here we will take a quick look at the five toppers in the dog-eat-dog race of earning members on Facebook pages.
Texas Holdem Poker: What do you expect when the leader in social network gaming and one of the worlds most popular games meet: something that surpasses the worlds most used social networking site itself. With a fan base of 24,207,914 as of this exact moment, and still counting, Texas Holdem Poker from Zynga holds steady onto the top of the ladder.

Michael Jackson: Aka the King of Pop is the worlds most successful entertainer of all time by Guinness World Records and the story does not end where his life did, RIP. Still with an increasing fan following, the page dedicated to the controversial superstar stands at the second spot in the popularity rankings. Members: 20,616,768.

Facebook: And finally, the host comes to claim its own position. At 20,100,552, the site itself stands at the third position. It is excused, of course, for two reasons: not everyone bothers to find the official Facebook page to click it, because admit it, it is kinda pointless when you are already signed into it. And second, Facebook need not prove itself by these lowly figures, because every one of the 500 million active users is a loyal fan. Cheers!!

Lady Gaga: Hate it or love it, but youve definitely got to admit it: theres no other like Lady Gaga. She wears the most outrageous pieces of stuff (Sorry folks, I stopped calling them cloth after she recently came wrapped in 50 pounds of flesh to claim her eight wins at the 2010 MTV Music Awards), her videos scream crazy, and she seems to be the most copied artiste by parodists. But you have to confess, she forces you to take notice, and if anyone reading this can look half as eccentric as LG usually does, for even a day and I will personally see to it that you get more fans on your page then this singing sensation with a theatrical twist of mind. Lady Gaga at fourth spot with 18,970,137 followers sure does not seem like a Bad Romancer.

Family Guy: Created by Seth MacFarlane for FOX, the Griffins became a household name in 1998 and the animated television series just set out on its ninth season now. Nominated for 12 Primetime Emmy Awards, 11 Annie awards and bagging three from each, the Family Guy commands a well-deserved 5th spot in our todays list with 17,951,431 fans.
